care partners
A Care Partner at Choose Joy Nursing is a highly trained member of your family's care team, providing compassionate, knowledgeable support during the newborn season.
While they are not Registered Nurses, many come from strong medical or childcare backgrounds and are often pursuing advanced careers in healthcare, such as training to become a nurse or pediatric provider.
Every Care Partner completes our comprehensive Choose Joy Nursing training program and is CPR-certified, ensuring they are well-prepared to provide safe, attentive, and family-centered newborn care.
They are extensively trained, educated, and supervised by our nursing leadership and follow the same care philosophies, procedures, and safety standards as our nursing team.
Care Partners are confident in feeding, soothing, establishing healthy sleep routines, recognizing normal newborn behaviors, and providing hands-on support while caring for your baby with attentiveness and professionalism.
Families consistently share how supported, at ease, and genuinely cared for they feel with a Choose Joy Nursing Care Partner. While they do not provide medical or clinical nursing care, they are a trusted and valuable option for families seeking exceptional overnight newborn support.
