Hi, I’m Ashlee! I’m originally from Iowa, but spent my early twenties in Nashville, Tennessee, where I earned my accelerated BSN from Marian University after completing my first degree in Psychology at Creighton University.

My passion for maternal and newborn care began during my time at Vanderbilt University Medical Center, where I spent four years caring for women and their babies in a variety of different roles including work in the nursery, “storking” babies, postpartum, and antepartum. I quickly fell in love with the opportunity to walk alongside women during some of the most vulnerable, transformative, and meaningful moments of their lives.

After recently moving to Dallas, Texas, discovering Choose Joy felt like such a beautiful sign from God. I’m incredibly excited to return to the work I love most—to care for, encourage, and support moms and their babies during such a sacred season of life.

When I’m not working, you can usually find me chasing after my two little girls, Scottie and Lennon, spending time with my family, or curled up with a good book.

There is truly nothing more incredible than the ability to create life, and I feel so honored to have the opportunity to support women through that journey. I can’t wait to meet you and your little ones!
