Hi, I'm Allie! I’m a Registered Nurse from Raleigh, NC, with over 1.5 years of experience in mother/baby care! I began my healthcare journey in pediatric acute care as a nurse extern and nursing assistant. After graduating with my nursing degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, I accepted a mother/baby position and absolutely fell in love with supporting families during one of the most meaningful transitions of their lives.

My background has allowed me to prioritize a compassionate and family-centered approach to care, with a strong focus on education, support, and advocacy for both parents and their newborns.

I have recently moved to the Nashville area and I’m excited to continue growing as a mother/baby nurse while building trusting relationships with families beyond the hospital setting. I've always wished I could support families for a longer period of time than just the 2-3 days they stay in the hospital, and I am honored to be able to do that through Choose Joy.

Outside of work, I love trying new restaurants and coffee shops, going on long walks, and cooking new recipes. I also traveling–my recent favorites being Italy and Portugal!
