I’m Jess! I started working in healthcare in 1998, and became an RN after earning my BSN in 2003 at Georgia Southern. I have worked in many specialties including the OR, ER, Labor and Delivery, GI, Case Management and most recently as a Telephonic Triage Nurse for an outpatient public health clinic focusing on at-risk individuals who lack access to healthcare, insurance and housing where I coordinated care for Obstetrics, Pediatrics, Adult Primary care, Geriatrics and Behavioral Health.

I have participated in medical mission trips providing joint replacement in impoverished countries, as well as donated time packaging medical supplies for countries around the world. Children’s cancer research and assistance is also very important to me!

I am a wife, mother of three, grandmother of 6 (and counting), and pet mama to a Great Pyrenees and two cats. I spend my free time helping care for my grandchildren and restoring my home with my husband. I love gardening, cooking and caring for my family and friends.

I strive to give myself unselfishly to others and to love as Christ loves. Favorite quote, “Not all of us can do great things, but we can do small things with great love” - Saint Teresa of Calcutta.
